I enjoy working with clients to increase their feelings of self-worth and confidence. I am especially interested in working with children and young adults who are experiencing family conflict, poor coping skills or stress related to traumatic events. Sometimes these stressors include concerns related to emotional/behavioral difficulties such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, or ADHD,
My clients find me to be supportive, encouraging and positive. I believe therapy can be an uplifting experience as well as a place to challenge yourself and grow as a person.
I have additional training in working with multicultural relationships and first generation Americans and immigrant parents in the areas of parenting, family therapy and couples counseling.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety disorders. I have experience successfully treating generalized anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive thoughts and worry, social anxiety, separation and relational anxiety as well as specific phobias.
I have an additional interest in working with members of the creative arts community. My previous career as a ballet dancer allows me a greater understanding of the issues of perfectionism, performance anxiety and the competitive stressors (mental, physical and emotional) that come with artistic careers.
My clients find me to be actively engaged in session, with a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental presence that allows for a deeper connection and level of trust. I have specific training in various modes of CBT, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness based stress reduction techniques- and I work with each person individually to develop a treatment plan based on their unique personality, needs and concerns.
